Weddings & Commitment Ceremonies
A celebrant-led wedding or commitment ceremony means you can have whatever ceremony you want, where you want, and how you want. There are absolutely no restrictions; it can include music, traditions, symbols, readings and poetry – or nothing but a stripped back, intimate ceremony just for the two of you. And if you want others to be a big part of your day, you can involve your families, your friends, and even your pets!
Celebrant led ceremonies from £750
We’ll start with an initial chat to get to know each other and see if I’m the one for you. After that, I’ll send you a questionnaire that will give me all the information I need, and I’ll follow that up with ideas for content and inclusions. I’ll guide you through everything you need to know, and you can tell me everything you want your ceremony to be.
I’ll create a unique and personal script that will tell your story, help you navigate your vows, suggest texts for reading and poems, and give you ideas for added extras. Together, we’ll make sure you have the ceremony you dream of. I’ll visit your venue, liaise with your wedding planner and photographer, and take the lead on your rehearsal. And, afterwards – because it’ll all be over in a flash and a bit of a blur – I’ll leave you with a printed copy of everything so you can bring it all back to life on your honeymoon!

The legal bit
To be legally married, you’ll need to obtain a marriage certificate from your local Registrar’s Office, which you can do at any time they are available. Most couples do it quietly a day or so before the ceremony; no vows, ring exchanges or celebration – just a couple of witness and signing of paperwork to make your ceremony day feel extra special. However, dependant on the location, venue, and timings, it may be possible to it all on the same day. Please let me know if you need more infomation or advice.
